Professional Registration:
1. Where required, registration with relevant professional body according to scope of practice.

B. Recommendations for Certified Teachers of Mindfulness-Based Interventions *
Experience:
1. Meets all foundational recommendations.
2. Participant observer in an 8-week mindfulness-based intervention where possible.
3. Has taught a minimum of four 8-week MBSR/MBCT courses or equivalent mindfulness-based interventions.
4. Participation in two 5-10 day silent mindfulness meditation retreats.
5. Participation in an 8-day Teacher Development Intensive.
6. Individual supervision during teaching by a local or international certified teacher.
